Zakesy Biotech Sdn. Bhd. is a start-up company by a group of researchers at Universiti Teknologi MARA, UiTM. This company was set up as an attempt to translate the research output that mainly conducted under Integrative Pharmacogenomics Institute (iPROMISE), UiTM to community which provide Direct-to-Customer genetic tests using arrays and whole genome or exome sequencing. iPROMISE is a Centre of Excellence instituted at Universiti Teknologi MARA since year 2013.
