Reinhausen Asia-Pacific Sdn Bhd, fondly known among its’ business peers as RAP, was incorporated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1996, with an aim to serve the needs of the customers and agents in the Asia Pacific region.  RAP, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen GmbH (MR), a world leading manufacturer of tap-changer equipment for power transformers located in Regensburg, Germany, serves as a regional administrative centre and official representative of MR in the region.

RAP plays a major role in market support for all MR manufactured products for the Asia Pacific region and over the years, have been a valuable resource centre for customers or clients to obtain the latest information and developments in the power generation industry.  Being in an industry that is constantly evolving, RAP is always at hand to introduce new revolutionary breakthroughs in the power industry to utility and private power companies within the Asian region and continuous efforts are made to be in close contact with the users specialising in Asset Management, Operations, Service and Engineering representatives of the POWER SUPPLY COMPANIES.

In addition to marketing products, components and services from MR, RAP also represents products and components from MESSKO and HIGHVOLT in the Asia Pacific region, two principal subsidiaries of MR which are headquartered in Germany.

Most recently, RAP has embarked on a quest to offer technical support and after sales service for a wide range of MR’s tap-changer equipment and components in the Asia Pacific region.  Our highly trained TECHNICAL SPECIALIST personnel are always on hand to offer consultancy services and solutions to a vast list of clientele in the region.  Since its’ incorporation, RAP has grown to be a reputable training hub in providing in-house training at our technologically advanced training centre, more so, in wanting to address the needs of our customers, our TECHNICAL SPECIALIST have also conducted briefings and assessments at site, offering solutions right at the very doorstep of the customer.

In our vision and mission to meet the expectations of our customers in the region, RAP has invested heavily into its’ greatest asset, that is the people, who are trained and skilled in fields relating to TAP CHANGERS and ELECTRONICS.  RAP has a group of multi-lingual personnel who can converse in major languages that are spoken in the Asia Pacific region and always aim to be in close contact with our users over the telephone and visits, affirming our commitment and appreciation towards their valued custom.
